WhatsApp rolled out with a much awaiting feature that it can support for voice and video calling to its desktop version, the Facebook-owned instant messaging service said Thursday, providing relief to millions of people who use WhatsApp’s desktop who have had to reach for their phone every time their WhatsApp rang.
Update supports for both Mac and Windows only for one-to-one calls, but definitely this feature expands and that might include group voice and video calls in the future.
To use the latest feature of video and voice calling from your desktop, One needs to download the app on their devices.

"Voice and video calls on WhatsApp are end-to-end encrypted, so WhatsApp can't hear or see them, whether you call from your mobile or your desktop.
